Honorable Mention At Meta XR Hackathon 2021

AREYES team received an Honorable mention at Meta XR Hackathon 2021 at Group AR Effect with our project Hot Slag.

With video calling becoming one of the most common ways to stay connected in the last two years, we started thinking: “Can it become more interactive?”

Definitely!

AR effects and Spark AR can make the video calling a more fun and immersive interaction between family and friends.

We built a real-time interactive multiplayer AR game called “Hot Slug” using a new feature – Spark AR Multipeer API. The game has a unique virtual character that challenges everyone’s attention and motor skills by jumping between screens, enabling an immersive and fun way to experience video calling.
